A healthcare company on Long Island is seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join their team in Nassau County, supporting both hospital and outpatient services.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business hours
• Setting: Hospital and outpatient office

Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality patient care in the field of Gastroenterology
• Maintaining outpatient clinic services at the Merrick office
• Rotating inpatient duties at Mercy Hospital
• Participating in a call rotation with other specialists
• Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and vaccination requirements
• Performing other duties, as needed

• MD/DO degree required
• Current New York medical license
• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Proficiency in Gastroenterological procedures
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Compassionate and patient-focused
• Ability to work in a team environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a Hospital and/or Outpatient settings
• Advanced Gastroenterological training
• Certification in specialized procedures
