A health services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA), focusing on providing overnight care for liver transplant patients in an inpatient setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours: 6:30pm to 7am
• Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities:

• Rounding on patients
• Performing physical examinations
• Writing notes (H&P and event notes)
• Updating handoffs with pertinent clinical information
• Providing verbal handoff to the day PA team
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Inpatient Transplant experience
• Master's Degree
• Active NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
• NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge in Transplant procedures
