As a Physician (Hospitalist) you will: - Serves as Physician (Hospitalist) in the Medicine Inpatient Service, responsible for the examination, diagnosis and treatment of the full range of inpatients seen in the hospital. - Performs a wide range of medical duties covering general internal medicine and consultation for general and subspecialty surgical services. - Examines patients, orders and evaluates the full range of radiology and laboratory tests, makes diagnosis and prescribes appropriate treatment to include oral and intravenous drugs, nursing care, and therapeutic dietary interventions. - Servers as a member of the Department of Medicine Medical Education Committee as a Key Clinical Faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. - Provides medical consultative services and chart review for quality assurance purposes.
