Locums - A well renowned rural hospital is seeking a hospitalist physician to assist with 24-hour in-house coverage in northern Maine, on the US-Canada border.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist
• Shifts needed 3/13-3/18 with the potential for additional shifts 3/25-4/1, 4/10-4/20
• 24-hour solo coverage in-house (12p-12p)
• Average day includes 12-15 hours working with the remainder on call
• Required procedures include emergent intubations, vent management, central lines, lumbar puncture, paracentesis/thoracentesis
• Must be comfortable seeing All Ages
• EMR Meditech Expanse
• Active ME license, DEA, ACLS, PALS, recent case logs
• $3,000 flat rate per 24-hour shift, lodging, malpractice provided
