The hospital facility is actively seeking a qualified General Cardiologist to join the cardiovascular services team. The organization maintains comprehensive cardiac care capabilities with established inpatient and outpatient service lines. The facility utilizes Cerner and Athena electronic medical record systems to support clinical documentation and care coordination.

Alaska offers diverse outdoor experiences centered around national parks and natural attractions. The region provides access to Kenai Fjords National Park, Denali National Park, and Glacier Bay National Park with opportunities for wildlife tours, glacier viewing, and scenic railway journeys. Visitors can explore natural hot springs and various wilderness activities throughout the state.

The clinician will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 24-hour call coverage responsibilities. Daily patient management includes both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services with an average caseload of 15 patients per shift. Documentation requirements include proficiency with Cerner and Athena electronic medical record systems. The position requires board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and the ability to obtain temporary privileges within a 15-day timeline.
