This modern 21-bed, 18,300 square-foot inpatient psychiatric facility specializes in treating children and adolescents with serious mental health needs. The unit operates as a new facility with four psychiatrists providing comprehensive care. The facility utilizes electronic medical records for documentation and requires on-site presence for all clinical services.

The region offers diverse recreational opportunities and outdoor activities throughout the year. Residents and visitors can enjoy regional attractions, cultural venues, and natural recreation areas. Year-round activities include outdoor recreation, seasonal sports, and various entertainment options available across the state.

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 5-17 with serious mental health conditions. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required along with fellowship training. The position involves full-time coverage with day shifts and potential on-call duties as determined by facility requirements. Documentation will be completed through electronic medical records with prescriptive authority required for medication management.
