This Hematology/Oncology locums opportunity in Beckley, West Virginia offers a hospital-based cancer center setting with both clinic and inpatient responsibilities. The role is ideal for a physician with oncology fellowship training and recent Hem/Onc experience seeking consistent, full-time coverage. The facility is willing to assist with licensing.

• Start Date: May 1, 2026

• Contract Length: 1 year

• Shift Schedule:

  • M-F clinic, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

  • Inpatient call every 3rd week

  • Weekends as scheduled

• Coverage Requirement: Full-time must be able to provide at least 3 weeks per month

• Patients Per Day: 15

• Patient Population / Age: 18 and up

• Department Description: Cancer Center

• Special Procedures: Bone marrow biopsy

• EMR: Cerner

• Practice Setting: Hospital

• Support Staff: Nurses, CMA, APP

• Supervision Requirements: N/A

• Board Certification: Required

• Oncology Fellowship: Required

• Experience: 35 years preferred

• License: Active WV state license required willing to license if needed

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS

• Expected Timeframe: 4560 days
