Job Description

HCA Florida West Hospital system location in Pensacola, Florida is seeking a full-time emergency medicine (EM) assistant medical director. As part of our team, you will enjoy flexibility with cross-credentialing across multiple sites, allowing you to chose the practice setting that best fits your skills and lifestyle. This robust hospital system offers a wide variety of practice settings with four hospital locations. 

Our Facilities
  • HCA Florida West Hospital: 65,000 annual visits 
  • Perdido Bay FSED: 30,000 annual visits
  • Pea Ridge FSED: 18,000 annual visits
  • Pine Forest FSED: 15,000 annual visits
Qualifications and Leadership Duties
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • ABEM/AOBEM: board certified or board eligible
  • Support the facility medical director in overseeing ED operations and clinical performance
  • Provide guidance to the team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Monitor patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives that enhance care, quality and efficiency
  • Champion safety and best practices throughout the emergency department
