Locums Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Float Pool) Charleston, West VirginiaAvailability / Dates
  • Start Date: June 1, 2026
  • Contract Length: JuneDecember 2026
    • Some limited availability may be needed prior to June
    • Number of Positions: 2
    Schedule & Shifts
    • Start Time: 7:00 AM
    • Shift Lengths:
      • Mostly 10-hour shifts
      • Some 8-hour and 12-hour shifts possible
      • 12-hour shifts not guaranteed
      • End of Day: Until cases are completed
        • Physicians released incrementally as OR volume decreases
        • Call:
          • No guaranteed call
          • May occasionally be asked to take call, but no monthly call commitmentCoverage Model
            • Float Pool: Must cover 3 hospital locations
            • Coverage Need: Approval to add 6 additional Anesthesiology MDs
            • Patients/Day: Varies by site
            Clinical Scope
            • Patient Population: Adults
            • Procedures: Full spectrum of surgical procedures
              • Transplants limited to Kidney only (no liver, heart, etc.)
            • Supervision:
              • Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
              • Skill Set Required:
                • General anesthesiology
                • Must be able to cover Pediatrics, OB, and/or CardiacPractice Setting
                  • Facility Type: Hospital
                  • EMR: EPIC
                  • Hospital Size: Varies by site
                  Licensure & Credentials (REQUIRED)
                  • State License: West Virginia
                  • Board Certification: Required
                  • Certifications:
                    • ABA
                    • ACLS
                    • BLS
                  • DEA: Required
                  • CSR: Required
                  • Minimum Experience:
                    • 2+ years
                    • Experience with Peds, OB, and/or CardiacReferral Bonus
