The facility is a full-service acute care hospital providing comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services. The hospital maintains surgical capabilities for complex cardiovascular procedures and thoracic interventions with supporting departments for patient care.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical coverage on a 24-hour call basis with daily call requirements. Responsibilities include performing general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries such as coronary artery bypass procedures, congenital defect repairs, valvular repair and replacements, aneurysm repairs, lung resections including VATS procedures, chest wall and pleural procedures, esophageal and diaphragmatic surgeries, and endarterectomy procedures.
