We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist as a Medical Director for Inpatient Unit in Franklin, IN. This full-time, remote role involves Medical Director functions, including leading committee meetings and answering administrative questions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Medical Director functions - chair medical executive committee meeting, pharmacy and therapeutics committee meeting, be available for any questions about a policy, or other administrative questions that might come up; be available for any state or accreditation audits.
Admissions have to be signed off on by MD within 24 hours of admission.
20% of charts need to be signed off on.
There is no requirement for the psychiatrist to see patients face to face, but must be available for any questions related to patients and/or any court testimonies for involuntary commitment patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Active Unrestricted Medical License in the State of Indiana or ability to obtain.
Active DEA in Indiana or ability to obtain.
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist.
