Hematology/Oncology Locums Opportunity Cambridge, Ohio

Dates:

• March 2-6 (any 3 days)

• March 30-April 3 (any 3 days)

• May 11-15 (any 3 days)

• June & July (flexible)

Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch

Patient Population: Adults only

• 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology

• No procedural duties required

Daily Responsibilities:

• See new patients needing chemotherapy or evaluation for blood disorders

• Develop and formalize treatment plans per NCCN guidelines

• Place and manage orders, including reauthorizations

• Typical patient volume: 14-18 patients per day, with no more than 3 new patients daily

• Collaborate with 2 APPs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, and a dedicated RN

Common Oncology Cases: Breast and colon

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology; Hematology/Oncology highly preferred

• ACLS required if Moderate Sedation privileges are requested

• 1+ years of experience rounding on cancer patients in a medical oncology department
