A regional hospital offering emergency and surgical services is seeking a pulmonary critical care physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility has level II trauma, an ER, and 30 beds.

The facility is located in Redding, California. This Northern California city is known for outdoor activities and healthcare services.

The provider will deliver clinic care for both Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine, seeing new and established patients, reading PFTs for sleep medicine, ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, returning patient calls, managing prescription refills and related follow-up, and handling in-basket responsibilities while away, including charting, pathology, and results management. The EMR is EPIC Cadence, and support staff includes an MA. Coverage is needed because the physician departed. Being able to offer at least five days of coverage, having Epic experience, and having sleep experience are preferred.
