Locums Gastroenterology | Stevens Point, WisconsinDates Needed

  • January 1223

  • Additional weeks available through 2026

Schedule & Clinical Details

  • MondayFriday position

  • Clinic + GI procedures (colonoscopy & EGD)

  • MonTue: clinic + procedures or clinic only (8-hour clinic shifts, lunch deducted)

  • WedFri: typically all procedures, no clinic

  • Fridays may be half-day or full day depending on GI suite availability

  • No weekends

  • Call available 1 day/week if interested

Offsite responsibilities:

  • Locum must review results when offsite and after assignment completion

  • Provide recommendations for communication with patients

Call Details

  • Call for assigned/unassigned patients

  • Call type: Beeper

  • 30-minute response time required

  • Phone consults: 02

Patient Volumes / Facility Info

  • 15 clinic patients per shift

  • 5 beds in facility

  • Facility will accept multiple providers

  • Procedure Block Times:

    • 3045 min for colonoscopies/EGDs

    • 4560 min for doubles

  • Anesthesia available

    Requirements

    • Admissions required

    • Hospital Stroke Certified

    • Fellowship preferred

    • BLS required

    • Act 10 acceptable

    • Trauma Level III

    • EMR: Epic
