A hospital is seeking a Wound Care Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Midwest Ohio.

This role involves comprehensive wound care management, including treating skin reactions, preventing skin breakdown, and managing vascular, pressure, and diabetic ulcers. Responsibilities include assessing and treating draining wounds and fistulae, applying topical therapies, providing proper wound dressing techniques, and supervising hyperbaric oxygen treatment. The provider will also implement preventative measures to reduce ulcer incidence and educate patients and their support systems on wound care, treatment, and prevention.
