  • Board Certified OB/GYN REQUIRED (no lapsed certifications)
  • Clean malpractice & medical license REQUIRED
  • Not eligible: Locums, 1099, visa candidates
  • Must be aligned with managed care philosophy
  • Must understand Texas Medicaid regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication & organizational skills
  • Skilled in:
    • Care coordination
    • Population health
    • Value-based care
    • Evidence-based medicine
  • Familiar with behavioral health & pharmacy roles
  • Able to apply medical knowledge to business operations
  • Comfortable with confidential information, negotiation, and high-pressure environments
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented approach
Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support clinical activities for managed care population
  • Review prior authorizations & appeals for medical necessity
  • Conduct peer-to-peer calls
  • Lead utilization, disease, and quality management efforts
  • Contribute to development of medical policies, clinical standards, and coverage criteria
  • Analyze provider performance, applications, site reviews, and quality metrics
  • Assist with pharmacy benefit oversight
  • Participate in fraud, waste & abuse program reviews
  • Support annual goal-setting aligned with Parklands mission
  • Participate in provider education and program development
  • Engage with state and local agencies (TDI, HHSC, TMA) as needed
  • Serve on medical management committees and interdisciplinary groups
