Locums Interventional Radiologist Springfield, MassachusettsKey Requirements

Start Date: February 2026
Assignment Length: 36 weeks (may extend as needed)
Board Status: BC/BE Required
State License: Active Massachusetts license Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Required

Schedule & Coverage

Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
One day on-site for DX Breast
Remote/Teleradiology: Possible 23 days per week (TBD)

Practice & Patient Details

Setting: Hospital-based with some remote coverage
Support Staff: Full complement
Team Size: 8 radiologists (2 leaving Feb ? 6 remaining)
Patient Age Demographics: Pediatric through Geriatric
Average Cases per Day: Variable
Annual ER Volume: ~120 patients/day
EMR: Epic / PowerScribe / PACS

Procedures Required

Imaging: Mammography, MRI (basic neuro, brain, spine, MSK), CT, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Pediatric studies
Interventional Procedures: Interventional breast/thyroid FNA
