Bronx, New York, Infectious Disease Physician Job

    • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible infectious disease physician
    • Reason for need: physician relocated
    • New grads welcome!
    • 2026fellows welcome to apply, as well
    • Work with seven ID attendings and one NP
    • Each attending does four months a year of ID consults in the hospital
    • Outpatient work, as well
    • Monday-Friday
    • 8 weekends of phone call a year (ID consults only)
    • In the clinic, they see 7-9 patients per half day session
    • Each attending does six half day sessions per week
    • When doing inpatient work, the number of clinic sessions decrease to two per week
    • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required
    • Teaching opportunities available
    • Work with a residency program
    • H1 visa candidates welcome
    • EMR: AllScripts
    • Organization Information:
      • Work at one hospital
      • Competitive salary - $190k plus up to $80k a year in bonuses (guaranteed minimum in place - base salary plus productivity/quality bonus)
      • Ability to moonlight in the hospital system make up to an additional $25k a year
