A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located 40 min from Richmond, Virginia.

This assignment features a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00-4:30 with no call, and credentialing takes about two weeks. Theyre open to MDs or autonomous NPs, and the daily patient load is typically 18-20 adult patients. A VA license and DEA are required. The site is supported by RNs and LPNs, uses paper charting, and Sapphire for prescriptions. Ideal candidates are comfortable with adult primary care in a structured, weekday-only setting.
