A well-respected health system in New Jersey is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour backup call coverage. This role ensures continuous hospital coverage and patient safety while supporting the hospitalist team.

About the Opportunity:
Location: New Jersey
Setting: Inpatient - Hospital only
Schedule: Ongoing, flexible 24-hour call shifts
Shift: 24-hour on call (no clinic)
Duration: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

• The OB/GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for:
• Serving as backup support to the primary hospitalist team
• Providing care during surge volume, emergencies, or unplanned absences
• Delivering obstetric and gynecologic care per hospitalist protocols
• Maintaining 24-hour availability during scheduled shifts
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active medical license and DEA in applicable state
• BLS / ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience preferred
• EMR experience (EPIC a plus)
• Strong communication and clinical judgment
