Opportunity Snapshot:A leading hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, is seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for inpatient locum coverage. This position features a 7-on/7-off schedule, with manageable call responsibilities, and is open to candidates holding or eligible through the IMLC.

• Coverage Dates: ASAP June 30, 2026

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off | 11-hour days with 2 nights of call per week

• Setting: Inpatient Hospital-based

• Call: STEMI and emergent TVP coverage only

• Call Ratio: 2 of 7 nights

• Call Response Time: Immediate or within 10 minutes

• Patient Volume: 2530 patients per shift

• Admissions: 2 per day

• Call Back Percentage: 510%

• Hospital Size: 220 beds

• Trauma Level: II

• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology Required

• Active Wisconsin Medical License or IMLC Accepted

• ACLS Certification Required
