Job Description

Locum Tenens Family Medicine PhysicianLocation: Fountain Valley, CaliforniaFacility: Outpatient Primary Care ClinicStart Date: December 1, 2025Contract Length: 13+ weeks (possible extension to 36 months or locums-to-perm)Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Patients seen 8:004:30, 8-hour workday with lunch break)Clinical Details
  • Setting: Outpatient only no call
  • Average Patients/Day: 1820
  • Patient Population: All ages (must be comfortable seeing all age groups)
  • Procedures (Preferred, not required): Common outpatient IM procedures biopsies, sutures, etc.
  • Support Staff: Yes MAs, practice manager, front office, etc. (No supervision required)
  • EMR: Epic (must be experienced)
Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of outpatient primary care
    • Epic EMR experience required
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Active CA medical license Required
    • DEA certificate Required
    • BLS or ACLS Required
  • Board Certification: Preferred, but not required
  • Local Candidates Only
