Job Description

Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity (Willing to License)Location: VirginiaStart Date: December 2025Contract Length: 6 monthsCoverage Needs:
  • Full-time office coverage (MonFri, 8 AM5 PM)
  • 8 24-hour call shifts per month
  • Call schedule: 1:6
Clinical Details
  • Practice Setting: Clinic + Hospital
  • EMR: Epic
  • Hospital Size: 146-bed acute care facility with Level II Nursery
  • Support Staff:
    • 5 Board-Certified OB/GYNs
    • 5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners
    • 1 Certified Nurse Midwife
    • Daily Patient Volume (Clinic): ~25
    • Department Volumes:
      • 7075 deliveries per month
      • 2025 non-obstetrical surgeries per month
      • Call Responsibilities:
        • All OB services (labor & delivery)
        • Unassigned OB GYN hospital call
        • Procedures & Skills:
          • OB GYN core skills
          • Minor GYN surgical proceduresRequirements
            • Board Certification: Required (ABOG)
            • State License: Virginia Required (Willing to Licnese)
            • DEA: Required
            • CSR: Required
            • Certifications Preferred: EFM, NRP, PALS
            • Experience:
              • Minimum: 23 years
              • Preferred: 5+ years
