Locums AnesthesiologistLocation: Logansport, IndianaAssignment Overview
  • Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Call Hours: 3:00 PM 7:00 AM (Daily Call)
  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
  • Call Schedule:
    • Daily call (excluding OB)
    • Low call-back volume
    • Approx. 6 call-backs per month (shared between 2 MDs over the past year)
    Clinical Responsibilities
    • Case Types Required:
      • Endoscopy
      • OB
      • Pediatrics
      • Urology
      • ENT
      • General Surgery
      • GYN
      • Orthopedics
    • Procedural Requirements:
      • Must be proficient in spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks
      • Caselogs required to confirm procedural competencyStaffing & Facility Details
        • On-Site Providers: 5 MDs
        • Supervision: Little to none; MDs handle their own cases
        • ORs: 4
        • EMR: Cerner
        • Daily MD Duties:
          • Pre-ops
          • Breaks and lunch coverage
          • Daytime OB epidurals
          • Take over cases running past 5 PM
          Requirements
          • Board Certified in Anesthesiology Required
          • Active Indiana License Required
          • Certificate of Insurance (IN PCF Compliant) Required
