A health system is seeking a GI for locums coverage.

The facility is located in upstate New York.

This role is for a board-certified therapeutic gastroenterologist with advanced training in EUS and ERCP. The schedule includes hospital-based care Monday-Friday with evening/weekend call, and outpatient clinic every other week for one day. Responsibilities include managing GI cancers and complications, performing advanced procedures, and collaborating with GI surgery and oncology teams. Support includes APPs, nurses, admin staff, and anesthesiology. EMR system is Allscripts.
