Locums or Locums to Perm Family Medicine Physician Tonasket, Washington612 Month Contract | Full-Time | Rural Primary Care | Potential for Permanent PlacementRecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Tonasket, WA. This is a full-time outpatient role at a well-supported rural clinic, ideal for providers who value continuity of care, community impact, and a balanced lifestyle.Position Overview
- Start Date: June 30, 2025
- Commitment: 612 months (with potential for permanent placement)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
- No weekends, no call, no OB or GYN
- Outpatient Only: Family medicine generalist role
- Patient Volume: ~20 patients per day
- EMR: Cerner CommunityWorks
- Population: Mix of adult, geriatric, and some pediatrics
- Must be willing to see pediatric patients (well-child exams)
- Occasional womens health
- Some chronic pain management
- Onsite support from:
- 1 NP, RNs, 23 MAs
- Clinic Manager & Chief Medical Officer
- Travel home once per month is acceptable
- Trauma level - Adult IV
- Looking for someone with rural healthcare experience and a commitment to underserved populations
- Board Certified in Family Medicine Required
- Active Washington State License Must be active at time of presentation
- BLS & PALS Certifications Required
- Experience with CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid patient populations
- Comfortable with a full-spectrum outpatient panel (excluding OB and GYN)
- Stability: Long-term assignment with potential to go permanent
- Schedule: Weekdays only no weekends, no nights
- Community: Serve a rural patient population with real need
