Length of need: 6 months full-time

DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 8a-3p (surgical center) & Tues, Thurs 8a-5p (clinic). Hospital call rotates every other week.

Adult patients per day: 14

Procedures: PEG (preferred), GI Endoscopy (upper & lower) w/ biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs laser), Banding of varices, Esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy w/ biopsy and excision of polyp.

Not required: Internal Medicine, ERCP, EUS, Liver biopsy, Esophageal manometry interpretation of insertion/mgmt. of Sengstaken or Blakemore tube.

EMR: EPIC

REQUIRED:

Active SC license or willing to license

Board Certified

BLS, ACLS, DEA

COMPENSATION:
