Family Medicine - Up to $265k annually with incentives

Join an existing outpatient practice with strong patient demand and hospital affiliated practice support. The Health Center provides a full range of health care services for the entire family, including pediatric medicine for newborns through age 17: well-child visits (routine, school, sports, and camp physicals); immunizations; adolescent health; sick visits by appointment; ADHD care; and hospital / ER follow up.

Position Details

- Adult medicine services for established patients include routine care for illness, injury, and chronic medical conditions; preventive health and wellness screenings; routine immunizations and preventive inoculations; routine physicals (including employment, insurance, and school physicals); and sick visits by appointment

- Practice also offers refugee health assessments in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health. Clinical social workers are onsite for consultation, assessment, and referrals

Compensation

- $240k - $265k annually with incentives

- Health, Dental, Vision insurance

- Paid malpractice, including tail coverage

- CME time & expense allowance

- Paid time away from the practice.

Schedule

- Day Schedule

- Weekends and Nightly call by telephone

Requirements

- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Family Medicine - Required

- NY License (or willing to obtain) - Required

- DEA (or able to obtain before start) - Required

- Strong desire to work with refugee population - Highly Preferred
