Locums Fredericksburg, Virginia, OB/GYN Opening

Clinical Role:

- Start: 5/27/24
- Contract Length: 6+ months.
- Shift Details: 24/7 in-house call coverage.
- Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-13 shifts per month.
- Patients per day: Approx 200 deliveries per month
- Department description: Labor and limited antepartum admission, postpartum and rounds. Average risk pts with NICU/Peds Support. OB triage coverage. Ed consults and Inpt consults.
- Support Staff: I NP, 24/7 Anes, Peds and Level 3 NICU. No OB Hos backup available to start. Ideally want 2 MDs each day.
- Building midwife program. Work around locums availability.
- EMR: Epic
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Board Certification - Required
- Active VA License or in process
- DEA - Required
