Job Description

A Level I Trauma Center is seeking immediate and ongoing locums tenens Emergency Medicine coverage.

Requirements:

• Boarded in Emergency Medicine
• Experience working with residents and medical students in a large medical facility
• Active IL license
• Minimum 6 shifts per month

Practice Setting:

• Level 1 Trauma Center
• 73 beds including the the pediatric EM
  • Approximately 1.7 patients per hour
  • 80% Adults
  • 20% Peds
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Peds PCCC center
• 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Support Staff
  • APPs, Residents, MS 3 and 4 medical students

Schedule:

• Approximately 60 current open shifts per month
  • 8 am - 4 pm
  • 11 am - 11 pm
• Start immediately
  • can grant temp priveleges with a clean file, otherwise 90 day credentialing
