Family Practice OR Internal Medicine Physician Baxter, MN
$200k-$250k per year (DOE)
We are looking for a motivated Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join our practice full time in Baxter, MN. We are seeking a Physician who enjoys providing high-quality comprehensive patient care to join our team in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area with plenty of shopping and outdoor activities year-round. We are looking for a compassionate, yet driven Physician to work closely with our orthopedic department, helping patients improve their functioning and mobility and improve their quality of life! Our patient base includes those suffering from back pain and injuries, as well as acute and chronic joint pain and conditions and the incoming Physician will be providing orthopedic/musculoskeletal care. We prefer the incoming Physician has orthopedic/pain management experience and joint injection/trigger point injection experience is a plus.

Duties:
- Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
- Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
- Develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
- Educate patients on diagnosis, potential treatment options, lifestyle changes, and rehab/modalities
- Treatments to include joint and trigger point injections
- Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, and chart patients progress
- Collaboration with the orthopedic dept. and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
- Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
- BCBE Family practice or Internal Medicine Physician
- MD/DO Licensed in MN
- Ortho/Sports Medicine, pain management, Joint injection and trigger point injection experience is a plus
