A health services network in New Jersey is currently seeking a Pediatrician specializing in child abuse to join their growing team in Newark.

About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Pediatrician Specializing in Child Abuse
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:
The Pediatrician will be responsible for:

• Comprehensive medical evaluations and or chart reviews for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
• In hospital consultations, which may include visits with the child victim.
• Participation in our ongoing commitment to education and research
• Provide teachings through didact sessions to pediatric house staff, medical students, mental health clinicians, social workers and law enforcement, if the opportunities arise

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Pediatrics
• Experience in Child Abuse and Maltreatment & General Pediatrics
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
