Job Description
California Diagnostic Radiology options-GREAT NEWS, THIS CAN BE A TELERADIOLOGY POSITION
Can start as a Tele-radiologist as long as CA licensed.
Will also take 2024 summer candidates
- Hiring Multiple Diagnostic Radiologists
- Start date is July 2024
- Top trained new grads are welcome
- California licenses and educational or personal ties are a plus
- We are looking for entrepreneurial Radiologists to expand and grow our practice covering 3 hospitals in California
Schedule:
2 weeks onsite, 8am to 5pm
1 week onsite, 5pm to 12 midnight ( see below, this is changing)
1 week off
1 weekend per month
Another option is 7 on/14 off
The client has said for teleradiology in CA the schedule options are for either 7on 7off from 4 PM to Midnight
or 7 on 14 off 4 PM till Midnight.
*** UPDATE FOR MAY:
Client will be changing the hours for afternoon/evening shifts beginning in May as new nighthawk company will start services at 10pm PST. Meaning the position will be from 2pm-10pm PST (5pm-1am) EST.
Must be able to read 12-15 cases per hour on average with a mix of everything
Must be able to read MRI
Expected income is about 550k base plus RVUS for the Mon-Fri schedule and
460k base and up to 12k RVU plus formula for more $ on top of that ( client will go over the financial breakdowns), Weekend only work is $525 per hour and includes malpractice
The full time option includes a benefits package
Our long term goal is to convert these sites to 100% teleradiology positions
Qualifications:
Must be capable of reading a wide variety of cases, reading for 3 hospitals.
Must be capable of handling a volume of 100-120 cases per shift when fully up and running.
- Reading pace is 12-15 cases per hour
Graduate of an ACGME accredited Radiology residency training program, and
Board Certified or Board Eligible, American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
