TeamHealth is seeking an pediatric emergency medicine leader for the role of facility medical director located on the campus of Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This leadership opportunity will report directly to the systems medical director and vice president of operations and will be responsible for the oversight of a growing team of clinicians and advanced practice clinicians.

Chippenham Hospital's pediatric emergency department, has 13 ED beds, 8 peds ICU beds and has an annual volume of 16,500. This location is affiliated with a Level 1 Trauma Center and has access to physicians, pediatric specialists, and nurses specifically trained to care for children. The facility is equipped with state of the art technology and has a multitude of pediatric back up specialties available. 

Clinicians interested in this role should be pediatric fellowship trained and available to work an equitable rotations of day, night and rotating weekend 8-hour shifts during weekdays (12-hour shifts on weekends).

Prior leadership experience and/or a minimum of 5 years of pediatric ED experience preferred.
