Locums Garden City, Kansas, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

Clinical Role:

- Dates Currently Open (all shifts end the following day at 7a):
- June 18-26
- June 30-July 5
- Aug 26-31
- Oct 10-16
- Nov 21-31
- Dec 23-31
- Stretches of at least 7 days/month
- Call is 24-hour shiftfrom 7 am to 7 am and includes all obstetrics as well as emergency Gynecology and Obstetrics cases
- Physician working in clinic seeing OB/GYN patients for new obstetrics, established obstetrics, new gynecology issues and surgical consultations. Surgical blocks are twice per week for non-emergent surgeries
- FTE: 0
- NICU Level II
- Births Per Year: 50
- Required Procedures: All OB/GYN procedures - Must have the following within the past 24 months: 5 deliveries, at least 5 hysterectomies and at least 5 C sections
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: Lab Tech, LPN/LVN, MA, X-ray Tech, RN
- Physicians working with CRNA's and midwives
- Reason for Coverage: 2 vacancies
- Census: Patient population, Adult, Adolescent; Number of beds, 10; Admissions, Clinic 16-25; inpatient 3-6
- Additional Info: NICU available staffed with Neonatal NP with Tele-Neonatologist back-up
- Facility has back-up with skilled General Surgeons & Urologist
- Board Certification: OB/GYN.Will consider truly Board Eligible (within the few years after residency)
- Active KS License - Open to candidates willing to obtain IMLC
