Additional Info: Leadership opportunity that includes overseeing clinician recruitment, supervision of all clinical care, as well as leading quality improvement.JOB DESCRIPTION: -Develops, implements, and monitors clinical programs and services for the Department of Psychiatry, takes steps to improve patient care outcomes/services-Communicates clearly with departmental leadership, faculty, and staff to outline roles,responsibilities, and expectations and conduct annual performance reviews-Ensuring compliance with all regulatory (JC, CMS, OMH, DOH) requirements and standards at all times- Ensure effective management and resolution of department-specific patient complaints and critical events-Maintains proper accreditations and licensing standardsQUALIFICATIONS:-New York State license-BE/BC in General Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry-Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
