We invite you to be part of a new critical care practice located in very scenic Idaho Falls, Idaho. Whether you are completing your fellowship or you are an experienced pediatric intensivist this is the perfect opportunity for you to help establish this new unit with a national group. The practice is located in a new, Level-II trauma center at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. The PICU is a 6-bed, multidisciplinary unit with an estimated 300 admissions per year and an anticipated average daily census of one to four patients. You will provide comprehensive critical care management and services offered include HFOV, nitric oxide, and pediatric sedation service. Shifts are 24-hours on-call. Our facility offers pediatric subspecialty support including our affiliated group of neonatologists. Teaching opportunities are available and residents from Pacific Northwest University participate in teaching rounds with our staff.
