Job Summary

ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 36-hour/week night-shift travel assignment. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, and respond to changes in patient status.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Operate and monitor critical-care equipment and life-support devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
• Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care during shift changes.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• ICU/critical care experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Updated resume
• Recent professional references
• Ability to work 3 12-hour night shifts
• Required onboarding/health documentation per facility policy
