For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (Permanent residence must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility)

• Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $72.00 - $75.00
• Estimated Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,304.00 - $2,400.00
• Taxable Hourly Rate: $34.00 Per Hour
• Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $38.00 Per Hour

For Traveler 1099 Candidates

• 1099 Hourly Pay Rate: $75.00 Per Hour
• Weekly 1099 Pay Rate: $2400.00 Per Week

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical conditions in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including triage, vital signs, and medical history collection.
• Prioritize and manage care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced airway support, cardiac monitoring, and ventilator care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assist with trauma cases, wound care, catheter insertions, specimen collection, and emergency procedures.
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes within EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and facility policies.
• Support Emergency Department operations by participating in triage and rapid patient throughput initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
• Experience working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
• Strong skills in IV insertion, airway management, cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and critical care nursing.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be located at least 50 miles away from the facility address to qualify for traveler/stipend benefits (based on driver's license address).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Critical Care, ICU, Trauma, or Urgent Care settings.
• Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced emergency procedures.
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
