As a Physician Assistant you will perform duties such as: - Independently perform direct health care to include clinical duties such as assessing, planning, evaluating, and modifying the plan of acute and chronically ill patients. - Collaborate with attending physician and other medical staff in interpreting and evaluating continuing changes in direct patient care. - Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members regarding treatment and medical care. - Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems. - Secure comprehensive health and medical history from the patient or family member, records findings and make clinical evaluation.
