An inpatient neurocritical care facility is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Wilmington, NC to support a Neurology team in a high-acuity hospital setting. The role involves evaluating and managing assigned patients, supporting admissions and rounds, and delivering care in a 10-bed Neuro ICU.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift or night shift
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday
• Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am; no call
• Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities:

• Perform neurological assessments and follow-up examinations for assigned patients.
• Manage care for neurocritical care patients in a 10-bed ICU environment.
• Support admissions, hospital rounds, stroke alerts, and discharge planning.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Inpatient neurology experience.
