Locums - A well renowned hospital is seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with coverage near Rockford, Illinois

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Start April 2026 for ongoing need
• 12-hour shifts; M-F, 7a-7p
• No call
• 100% adult patient population
• Approx. 20-25 ppd shared amongst providers
• Primarily an inpatient coverage role with some overlap in outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Duties include rounding on neurosurgery inpatients, assessments, provide support in clinic, etc.
• EMR EPIC
• Active IL license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, recent case logs
• Starting rate $115/hr, mileage, lodging, travel, malpractice provided
