A medical center in Livingston, New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for locum coverage in a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced care for critically ill and premature newborns as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Days or Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Weekdays and Weekends)
• Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Setting: Inpatient NICU

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill and premature neonates in the NICU
• Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Manage acute and complex neonatal conditions
• Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care in the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications:

• NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assitant (PA) license
• Board Certification
• Experience managing critically ill neonates in a NICU setting

Desired Skills:

• Background in Level III or Level IV NICU care
• Experience with Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Experience with Epic EMRs
