TeamHealth is seeking a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our hospitalist (HM) team at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina! Responsibilities for this position include floor call and assisting the physician with admissions. This position offers a flexible block 7a-7p schedule. 
 
About the Facility 

• 288-bed facility
• Closed ICU: TeamHealth runs the ICU team separately
• EMR: CERNER
• No solo APC coverage required

Position Details

• Full-time day shift position: 7a-7p
• 7 days on/7 days off block schedule
• Primary responsibilities: floor calls, admissions, rounding, and discharges
• APC will round and discharge on their own
• Hospitalist physician must co-sign all APC admit orders
• ED handles codes
• No procedures required
• Will see a mix of high and low acuity patients (Hospitalist physician is always available for questions on higher acuity patients if needed)
