A community mental health center offering inpatient and outpatient care, located in Northeast Alabama. The facility provides comprehensive psychiatric services with dedicated resources for mental health treatment and maintains modern documentation systems to ensure effective treatment delivery. The organization operates with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support patients requiring various levels of psychiatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric services including medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and treatment plan authorization for patients across the lifespan. Clinical duties include conducting 30-minute initial evaluations and managing 15-20 medication checks per day for patients with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The clinician will work full-time Monday through Friday during day shifts in a hybrid position requiring at least 3-4 days on site with no call requirements. The position requires prescriptive authority and involves maintaining detailed documentation while collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
