A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Dilwyn, Virginia.

This assignment runs for 3-6 months with the option to extend, and credentialing takes about two weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no call, and the role is open to MDs or autonomous NPs. The clinician will see 18-20 adult patients per day, supported by RNs and LPNs. A valid VA license and DEA are required. The clinic uses paper charts, with Sapphire for prescriptions. The ideal candidate is someone comfortable managing adult primary care in a structured weekday environment.
