An Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Aitkin, Minnesota.

Assignment begins January 1 or February 1 for a 3- or 6-month term, with an average credentialing timeframe of 90 days. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no call responsibilities. This position is open to APPs only (FNP or PA). The provider will see 15-18 patients per day on average, up to 25 during peak summer volumes, and treat patients of all ages. An active MN license and DEA are required; COVID or flu vaccination is preferred. The role is solo provider supported by a CMA or LPN and uses Epic EMR. Duties include typical outpatient care and basic procedures such as suturing. Same-day orthopedic cases are referred to the ortho clinic, and an ER RN triages cases requiring emergency evaluation.
