Great opportunity in Eastern Texas within the Longview area for an NP or PA to work in an outpatient Pre Admit Surgical Screening role.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Must have atleast 1 yr exp as NP/PA in similar specialties
• Very similar role to a Primary Care/Family Med care role
• PASS - Pre Admit Surgical Screening - optimize patients for surgery
• Full screening of patients similar to PCP
• Educate patients on the procedures and expectations
• Check medications for complications
• Mon-Fri 8-5 with no call or weekends
• Patient volume varies but can expect to see about 20 patients per day on avg once trained
• Will see ages 18+
