We are seeking a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our team in the emergency department at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut.

No experience in emergency medicine? No problem! TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an emergency department or urgent care setting is a plus. APC candidates will be required to have current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications. Sharon Hospital features a 12,000 volume emergency department. These are currently 8 hour shifts throughout the day (APC coverage is provided in the facility from 11:00am until 7:00pm). You must be available for all shifts, to include weekends.
