Job Description

A health services network in Georgia is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Intensive Care Unit at one of their facilities in the Greater Atlanta area.
About the Opportunity:
  • Shift: Night
  • Schedule: Full-time, 3 12-hour shifts per week
  • Hours: 7pm to 7:30am
  • Setting: Medical-Surgical ICU
Responsibilities:
  • Managing critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
  • Collaborating with intensivists to develop and adjust care plans
  • Performing ongoing assessments and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Entering orders and documenting thoroughly in Cerner EMR
  • Performing invasive procedures like central venous and arterial line insertions
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in a Critical Care and/or Intensive Care role/setting
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • GA Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Acute Care certification
  • Strong procedural competency in Central and Arterial Lines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations
Desired Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Advanced certifications in Critical Care
  • Proficiency in Cerner EMR systems
